Galatians 5:13

Galatians 5:13 - For your brethren, you have been called to liberty; only do not use it as opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

: In this text, it tells us that if we have been called to liberty for our brothers in the  church, we must not use it as a opportunity to serve ourselves and our own fleshly desires, but to serve God and our christian brethren. In the united states we have been given the liberty and justice for all, meaning that we have the freedom to go about our days and do what we please as long as its not a crime. This is okay of course but,on the other hand, it poses a problem with the American society and our new generation. This generation believes that since its ok to do what we please as long as its not a crime, that they have the right to make new decisions for a new way of life, sadly a liberal life that does NOT glorify God. Biblicaly, the rainbow is a sign of promise from God that He will never flood the earth again, But this generation uses the rainbow in a totally different light; it is used as a symbol of homosexual freedom. Now I'm not downing on the people who are living this life-style, since the Bible says "hate the sin, but love the sinner", but i am pointing out that this new generation is abusing the liberty that they have been given and are abusing the real symbolization of the rainbow . This generation is very confused and rebellious, so much to the point that they believe they have the right to do whatever they think is right for themselves, not for others. Thats why God called missionary teams like us into His divine ministry, so that we may have a chance to talk to these people about the truth and the Gospel of our heavenly Father so that they will be given the chance to turn from their own selfish ways and give their lives to Jesus . We are not perfect, but that doesnt mean that God cant use us, as His children, we were given that privilege to go out and tell the world about Our Fathers divine grace. We as HIs children were given by God the liberty to do that, so lets use that liberty wisely and go do our Fathers work and go tell the masses about Him.

APPLICATION: If God be willing, Tomorrow I will Pray with my team For the wisdom to use our liberty to serve our brethren, not only out in the world, but in the church and at home.
