Luke 8: 11-15

Luke 8:11-15 : "Now the parable is this; The seed is the Word of God. Those by the wayside are the ones who hear, then the devil comes comes and takes away the Word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the Word with joy; and these have no root who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the Word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.
:  Here Jesus is explaining the Parable of the Sower that he told to the multitude of people. here, the seed that the sower is sowing, represence our Fathers Word, the different soils are the people who have heard the Word and have concieved it in their many different ways.  If the Word is told to a person who does not really want to hear it, they will turn their ears away , therefore allowing Satan to steal it away from their hearts. Then there is the rocky soil, aka the people who hear the Word with joy, they may listen to it and Take it in at that time and may believe for that time but then will turn away from the word at go about their worldly ways of life all over again. Then there are the people who have heard the Word, and take it in, but dont want to leave behind their worldly life of luxury and the rich pleasures of this world, therefore resulting in them falling away from God. Then there are thec people who have heard the Word of God and have accepted it into their lives with open hearts and follow our Lord with open minds for His way. this is a amazing lesson we should all learn , especialy if we are going to be going into the mission field. there will be people out there in the world that will be like the seeds that never grew, people who will either listen to us or reject Gods word in our presence. we should not be discouraged though, for God definitely will in time bring a person to us that will here His word and accept it with a wholesome happy heart and will become a follower of God. we must put all our faith in our Father in Heaven and believe that he will , not might, but will bring that person in our life so that we may minister to them. We are doing our Daddys work,  we must put all our faith in Him for His help in the  long run.

APPLICATION :If the Lord be willing,I will put all my  faith in the Lord to bring that person in my life to minister to and I will let God use me in a powerful way to tell the Gospel to that person, giving that certain someone the chance to give their life to Him and hopefully follow Him with a new heart , ready to learn more.

Hebrews 11:1- Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things unseen : In this verse .it talks about how faith is the substance of things hoped for . Jesus said "If we have faith as small as a mustard seed, we can move mountains." This is very true !!  if we believe in the Lord our God , whom is very much real but yet unseen , and if we put all our faith in Him, He can help us in the thick and thin of our every day life . Hebrews 13:5

  Hebrews 13:5 - Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself said "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." : In this verse, as we read we notice that it tells us to be content with the things we have and not be covetous.Being content with what we have can sometimes be a bit difficult. as humans, we tend to want more and more or tend to become envious of what others have that we don't.
